My Mission

My mission is to inspire and uplift through thoughtful, compassionate storytelling, creating a space where readers can explore faith, find encouragement, and experience the transformative love of Christ. Through my words, I aim to plant seeds of hope and truth in the hearts of those who seek meaning and purpose, gently guiding them toward a deeper relationship with God. My prayer is that each blog post serves as a stepping stone on their spiritual journey, leading them closer to the abundant life and peace found in Christ.

My Story

Hello all! My full name is Justyce Rain Marilynn Gould (I know it is very long). I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Growing up as an only child in a loving family, I never really had a ‘calling’ of what I wanted to do in life. You know how some people just know they want to be a doctor or a musician? Yea, that wasn’t really me.

Currently, I live in beautiful New Mexico, a place I now call home after moving here to be with the love of my life. My journey has been filled with diverse experiences. Education has also been a significant part of my life. I spent two years studying Criminal Justice at the University of Nevada, Reno.

However, I realized that path wasn’t the right fit for me, and I chose to pursue other passions. I one day decided, the military would be so cool! No reason other than that, I had nothing else to do! Before ya know it, I was shipped off to basic training. I started my career in the Army as a Culinary Specialist, but I now proudly serve with a Military Police Battalion. After moving to New Mexico, to be with the love of my live, I decided to give police academy a try. I apparently just love the career paths that scare my parents! So, I also have had the honor of serving as a Sheriff Deputy for some time.

One of the milestones in my life is being the first in my family to serve both my country and state, as well as taking on the role of a first responder. This sense of duty is something I carry with pride and gratitude.

While I didn’t grow up in a Christian household, my mom introduced me to church during my teenage years, and faith quickly became an essential part of my life. It all made sense to me from the start—I never questioned it, never doubted it; it just clicked. I officially got baptized in 2018, but it wasn’t until 2021, during basic training, that I truly learned how to rely on God alone. With nothing else to lean on out there, my relationship with Him deepened in ways I never imagined.

I am certified in biblical studies! The information I post is most certainly not just opinion based!

So here I am today, craving the simple life and simply to spread the Gospel. After all the hard work and dedication I have been through in my career choices and decisions, I simply just want a quiet and peaceful walk with God. (Saying that ever so slightly; walking with God can be quite a bumpy journey!)
